Hollow cathode lamps(HCL) is a stable light source, could submit special light line for the testing element.

AAS( atomic absorption spectrophotometer ) and AFS（ atomic fluorescence spectrophotometer) 

Main Technical Specifications:

1. Start Voltage:   ≤350V
2. Background:   The background strength near the main analysis line is lower

                  than 1% of the analysis strength
3. Warm-up time:  <30min, usually from 5-15min
4. Stability:        baseline drift of copper lamp within 30min <1%,

                  baseline drift of lamps of other elements within 5min <1% 
5. Noise:          <0.3%
6. Lifetime:       lamps with common elements ≥5000mA.h, 

                 lamps with fusible and volatile elements ≥3000mA.h
7. Maximum working current: between10--20mA

Characters:

1. Long working lifetime, could be kept for long time.

2. Have good stability for the characteristic line.

3. Radiation contest is low at side of the characteristic line.

4. Could submit special light line of the testing element, have no influence with cathode metal material, anode material and inert gas light line.

5. Low start voltage, could be used with kinds of brands AAS, normally AAS light frequency is  200HZ, 400HZ or more. Light need to off and on numerous time within second.
